On March 30th two Capitol Police officers sued Donald Trump for the physical and emotional injuries they suffered in the insurrection inspired by Trump. The two officers alleged the following five causes of action against the former President:

  • Directing Assault and Battery
  • Aiding and Abetting Assault and Battery
  • Directing Intentional Infliction of Emotional Distress
  • Liability Per Se for Violation of D.C. Code § 22–1322 — Incitement to Riot
  • Liability Per Se for Violation of D.C. Code § 22–1321 — Disorderly Conduct

I anticipate that Trump’s defense team will motion to dismiss this case for failure to state a cause of…

A few days ago Donald Trump told the world that the violent insurrectionists who stormed the Capitol were “zero threat.” In defiance of the incredible violence we see on video Trump effectively declared that fake news, saying the insurrectionists were “hugging and kissing the police and the guards.”

Yesterday two of those police officers sued Donald Trump for the injuries they received on January 6th and the emotional damages they have suffered since. You can read the lawsuit here. …

Look Into The Face Of Insanity

Today’s winner of my periodic “Whackadoodledoo Award” is My Pillow Guy Mike Lindell. For about a month now he’s been threatening to (within the coming week) countersue Dominion Voting Machines and Smartmatics mega-billion lawsuits against him. The lawsuit seems nearly as delayed as nuclear fusion, but he promised its imminent filing yet again today. So there’s that.

Of course Mr. Whackadoodledoo assures us it will be a blockbuster. It will go to the Supreme Court, and “bring down” the entire election. In the capper to it all Lindell promises “Donald Trump will be back in office in August.” …

Georgia Says This Is A Felony

Yesterday Georgia State Representative Park Cannon was arrested, and felony charged mind you, for knocking on the door of the Governor while black. I mean, look at the sheer Antifa/BLM violence of her actions folks as her hammer like fist of Thor (only a black woman Thor) wraps on the door.

The white cop arrested her for knocking on the door while the all white Governor, surrounded by all white guys, was signing the bill that (among other things) makes handing out water to those waiting in election lines a criminal offense. In short, small government conservatives at work.

Guy Reffitt is among those charged in the Capitol Hill insurrection. Yesterday the government filed a brief opposing his release on bail, seeking to detain him until trial. This information comes from that brief. I’ll be quoting directly from that document, to include when it quotes Reffitt.

Planned In Advance:

In late December 2020, one of Reffitt’s family members informed the FBI that Reffitt was “going to do some serious damage” related to federal legislators in Washington, D.C . . . on or around January 5, 2021, Reffitt and another TTP member drove from Texas to Washington, D.C. …

One of the counts at interest.

Representative Eric Swalwell (who served as one of the House impeachment managers) has sued Donald Trump, Trump Junior, Rudy Giuliani and Representative Mo Brooks. I invite you to read the full lawsuit.

The lawsuit seeks damages for harms done to Swalwell during the Capitol insurrection that Swalwell alleges defendants incited. The lawsuit spells out the numerous actions by defendants, both before and on January 6, that Plaintiff alleges incited the sacking of the Capitol. I won’t get into the specifics of that as this post is about the interesting legal theories advanced.

Swalwell alleges the defendants violated the Ku Klux…

Klein In FBI Online Wanted Poster Prior To His Identification

Two days after his inauguration Donald Trump appointed Federico Klein to a State Department position for which Klein was granted Top Secret clearance. He served in that position until January 19, 2021, resigning the day before Biden’s inauguration. So on January 6th Klein was still in his Top Secret clearance job that Trump appointed him to.

Yesterday (Thursday, March 4th) Klein was arrested in connection with the Capitol Hill riot. The charges include assaulting police officers to include assaulting them with a police shield that he stole. …

General Walker Delivers Bombshell Testimony To Congress

With Benghazi, Republicans obsessed over a supposed “stand down order.” On January 6th the National Guard was under a stand down order for over three hours while rioters ransacked our Capitol and sought to assassinate members of Congress and the Vice President.

At about 1:50 Chief Sund of the Capitol Police made a panicked phone call to General Walker, the Commander of the D.C. Guard, requesting the immediate assistance of the National Guard. Up until the day before Walker would have been able to immediately respond with a National Guard Quick Reaction Force that Walker testified would have been at…

Also Aliens, To Make This Interesting

As we look about the world questions arise and we sentient humans try to answer them. I submit there are three fundamental methods by which humans believe they know things. To illustrate those methods I shall apply them to a very basic question: How many teeth does a horse have?

This approach finds answers and truth by conferring with religious authority. To determine how many teeth a horse has one might refer to the Bible, or other religious text. Perhaps one prays to God seeking the answer. …

With the failure of Senate Republicans to convict Former President Trump, some have proposed using Section 3 of the 14th Amendment to accomplish the objective of disqualifying him from future public office through a simple majority vote of Congress. While idea is completely untested, Constitutional text creates a strong case that this is Constitutionally viable. Section 3 of the 14th Amendment reads:

No person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice-President, or hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any State, who, having previously taken an oath, as…
