Today the United States authorized, for the first time, to allow Ukraine to fire long range ATACMs missiles into Russia proper. I was moved to write about this story in the fashion of William Shakespeare. It helps if you try to read it while doing a British accent.

O hark, the winds of change do now proclaim,

That Ukraine’s reach hath grown with deep breath.

With ATACMS’ swift and deadly aim,

Their foes now quake and ponder fate and death.

No longer bound by borders drawn in strife,

They strike where once their hand could not extend.

To Russia’s heartlands, war’s grim touch brings life,

A message sent, that none shall dare pretend.

The tides of war, forsooth take a turn,

As justice seeks to balance anew.

Flames of vengeance, fiercely now doth burn,

While nations watch what Ukraine shall can do.

So unleash the ATACMs of war.

To attack Russia as never before.
