Believe it or not I have seen just that kind of thinking on conspiracy theorist websites. For example, all of the 9/11 flights were connected by conspiracy nutters to the number 11 in the following ways:

Flight 11: The first to hit the WTCs, no explanation required.

Flight 175: The second to hit the WTCs. In this case the decision is made to arbitrarily subtract the first the first number. So 7+5=12–1=11.

Flight 77: That hit the Pentagon. In this case 77 divided by 7 = 11. At which point the conspiracy cultist trumpphantly shouts THERE IT IS AGAIN!!

Fight 93: Now this one is hard for them. However, they first note that Flight 93 is the only that didn’t hit anything. Supposedly it not “adding up” to 11 is a “sign” to all those “in the know” that it was the planned to fail mission to make things look good and create fake heroes. Others note that 33 passengers (not counting the hijackers) supposedly died on the plan and 33 divided by 3 = 11. So there you go.

I didn’t make anything up in that quiz. All that stuff is out there in the nut cult of conspiracy theorists.
