I suppose I could do a detailed rebuttal of that nonsense. All of his legal claims relating to the PRA misrepresent the law. The PRA saying a former President can access records from his administration does not mean he gets to possess them, on his terms, without even telling NARA what he has. The 11th Circuit has already ruled that the documents were not personal, and were not Trump's to keep.
However, it should be noted that Trump was not indicted for a single document that he voluntarily returned. Trump got a subpoena and intentionally defied it, deceiving his own lawyers to hide documents he wanted to keep. Had he complied with that subpoena there would have been no indictment.
