I think the two that say “Grab Em By the Data” and “The Climate Doesn’t Make Deals” sum up the futility of dealing with Trump on science. To Trump, everything is negotiable, even the facts, even the truth.

Undesirable scientific conclusions are handled the same way he handles everything, per his religion expressed in The Art of the Deal. Since he doesn’t like the position of science, facts and data, he takes an extreme position against those things.

Science takes facts and observations based positions. Trump takes positions based on what he wants, to include what he wants to believe. Science does not make “deals” or compromise on the facts, it just finds them and reports them. Trump can’t even understand that way of thinking.
