The PR nightmare for United Airlines continues. Merriam-Webster’s online dictionary reports hits on the word “volunteer” spiked up 1,900 percent over normal. Jimmy Kimmel made the incident part of his show including a fake United Airlines advertisement with a smiling hostess saying such things as “if you resist you will be able to use your own face as a flotation device.”
In the meantime, #NewUnitedAirlinesMottos became the #1 trending hashtag on Twitter. Here are some of my favorite proposed UA mottos.
