When Harry Reid used the nuclear option to lower the threshold for judicial nominees, did he somehow think that the example he set would be reserved for Democrat use only?
Not a fair comparison. Reid’s use of the nuclear option applied only to Executive Agency appointments and lower Federal court appointments. It explicitly did not include Supreme Court nominees.
