The Murder Wing of the Trump Team

The MAGA world is all a gaga about Trump’s rally in the Bronx last night. They claim 25,000 attended, the pictures suggest it was closer to 2,500. But I come not to quibble about Trump’s continued pattern of exaggerating the size of his things. At this event rappers Sheff G and Sleepy Hollow were invited onto the stage as a giddy Trump accepted their endorsements.

Sheff G’s real name is Michael Williams, and Sleepy Hollow is Tagun Chambers. Sheff G has a wrap sheet longer than his rap sheet, with a variety of priors. The priors pale to the current charges. Sheff G is out on bond of $10 million for which he had to front $1.5 million. Sheff G and Sleepy Hollow are indicted, along with 30 others, for orchestrating horrifically violent gang activity (in part funded by their music earnings) that includes little stuff like murder, attempted murder, conspiracy to commit murder, and shootings that included innocent by standers as victims. http://www.brooklynda.org/2023/05/1...counts-including-conspiracy-to-commit-murder/

In short, these are the kind of men responsible for terrorizing the streets of New York. Last night they shared the stage with a former President, and wannabe President, who laughed and joked with them.

Not really the first time for this sort of thing either. In 2016 Trump happily shared the stage with Mike Tyson, a convicted rapist and woman beater who boasted that his best punch ever was when he hit his wife. I guess Trump figured he had to up his game from that, and the leaders of murderous New York gang was what he came up with.

But hey, it’s all an accident, a misunderstanding, just like a Truth Social Post characterizing the expectations of his Presidency as including a “unified reich.” Just like the fraud that closed his university, the fraud that closed his charitable foundation, the fraud resulting in his company being criminally convicted, the fraud leading to him being massively civilly fined, the completely easy to explain concealment of hush money payments to a porn star, having dinner with open Jew haters, and so on.

He’s just misunderstood. After all, he just wants to make America great again, a terrorist gang leader just stood next to him and said so.
