Ruby Freeman has received some compensation. She sued OAN, Giuliani and others. OAN settled with her for an undisclosed amount. Giuliani's motion to dismiss failed and the lawsuit against him continues.

The settlement with OAN included OAN issuing an on air retraction acknowledging there was no evidence she committed fraud.
