The Depraved Lunacy of Ann Coulter.
Conservative Heroine Claims Pictures of Crying Toddlers at the Border Are “Child Actors.”
The batfecalmaterial crazy world of Trump supporters ranges from Birthers to QAnon believers. Attempting to defend Trump’s policy of separating children from their parents at the border has brought out the worst in dishonesty and just flat crazy. For example, Fox & Friends giddily claimed pictures of children warehoused inside chainlink fencing were not cages because “they built walls out of chainlink fences.”
But Orwellian semantics are nothing compared to lying conspiracy theory off the charts insanity. For that, Fox News need to bring in Ann Coulter. Coulter proceeded to declare that the President should not fall for pictures of kids crying when being separated from their parents because they are “child actors” given by liberals scripts to read. Watch it for yourself, with the warning that you are entering lala land.
As you can see Ms. Crazyter insists (twice) that this is “according to the New Yorker.” As it turns out, the New Yorker has no such article.
Coulter appears to be referencing this article done by the New York Times on May 29th. That article includes the following statement:
“Administration officials insist that the new zero-tolerance policy that, in some cases, separates children from families seeks to protect them from human smuggling rings. In many cases, officials said, migrant children have been coached on what to say to make fraudulent claims for asylum.
Immigration advocates have fought those claims . . .”
At no time did the New Yorker or New York Times say these kids were coached. Rather, the New York Times reported the administration’s position that migrant kids were coached on what to say. Reporting the administration’s position is NOT “according to the New York Times.” It’s according to the administration, which the NYTs just reported. Of course, saying that would not have worked for Coulter, so she lied.
One also has to wonder what degree of depraved mental deficiency is required to believe a three year old crying at being separated from her mother is a “child actor” coached by liberals. That’s the same hateful, mentally ill nonsense that claims the grieving families of kids killed in school shootings are “crisis actors.”
I’d like to believe nobody watching that clip of Coulter believed her. Sadly, I think many mesmerized members of the Trump personality cult continued to chant “MAGA” and believed every word of it. After all, a strong majority of Republicans support Trump’s policy of separating kids from parents.
