The timeline in Game of Thrones was always somewhat strained. But in Season 7 it has become flat out impossible in a way that is a major distraction. The storyline is becoming a joke.

Jamie’s Army marches the better part of a 1,000 miles (maybe more) to Highgarden in like a few days. Euron’s entire fleet sails around an entire continent in maybe a week, two at the most. Probably something on the order of 3,000 or more miles.

This would be the entire effectively magically created fleet of a thousand ships, built on a wood poor series of islands in just a few weeks. Yet is it the most impressive fleet Westeros has ever seen. If building such an impressive fleet was that easy, it would have been done many times before.

Look, it’s okay to make us believe in dragons. That’s part of the world. Impossible movements in impossible periods of time are not part of the world.
