President Trump opened the work week following Thanksgiving being very busy . . . tweeting. Tweeting about the Mueller investigation. Important news regarding that investigation has broken this week, but his blizzard of tweets (eleven tweets about the Mueller investigation in just 3 1/2 days) started before that, indicating advance knowledge. As I am writing this news is breaking that Cohen has reached a plea deal with Mueller where he will plead guilty to lying to Congress about . . . collusion.
While Trump has often tweeted criticism of the so-called “witch hunt” against him, the density of tweets in so short of time is unusual. It’s clear Trump knows something is coming down, that it’s big, and bad, and he needs to get out front discrediting Mueller as much as he can. Let’s take a look at his tweets by day.
Monday, November 26th
For the record, Mueller is a Republican and has no legal conflicts of interest. The one witness Mueller wants to interview is Trump himself, but Trump refuses to allow himself to be interviewed.
Tuesday, November 27th
Wednesday, November 28th
This one featured two former Presidents and Trump’s own, hand appointed by him, Deputy Attorney General in prison.

Do those look like the tweets of an innocent man?
