Trump Attorney General Kills Epstein Investigation And Is Lying About Something
After months of promising to release the Epstein files the Department of Justice today released a memo that said the following:
- Epstein died by suicide.
2. There is no Epstein “client list.”
3. The DOJ will not be releasing anymore documents related to the case after all.
After MAGAs pushed wild Epstein conspiracy theories the Trump DOJ today declared, with no apparent sense of irony, that “Perpetuating unfounded theories about Epstein” does not serve “combatting child exploitation and bringing justice to victims.” The MAGA world (including the current and deputy directors of the FBI) have for years pushed theories claiming that Epstein did not commit suicide and every political figure or celebrity they don’t like was a client of Epstein.
The DOJ memo today flatly contradicts a prior statement by Trump Attorney General Pam Bondi. On February 25th Bondi had the following exchange on Fox News.
Reporter: “The DOJ may be releasing the list of Jeffrey Epstein’s clients, will that really happen?”
Attorney General Pam Bondi: “It’s sitting on my desk right now to review.”
In February it was sitting on her desk. Today it does not exist.
Dear MAGAs, Pam Bondi either lied to you on February 25th or Pam Bondi lied to you today. I’ll let you decide which.
When deciding you might want to consider one more thing. A month ago this happened.
Today Trump’s Attorney General, after telling you she had something to see, said there was nothing to see.
