Underlying the unsupported claims that widespread voter fraud actually occurs is the conspiracy theory that it occurs because Democrats let it happen, and particular the Obama administration let it happen. There are two glaring flaws with this theory:
1. No widespread voter fraud was found in prior administrations, to include Republican administrations. Not by Bush II, Bush I, Reagan, Nixon . . . nowhere. Apparently the conspiracy to suppress evidence of voter fraud taints even these Presidents, even though the whole point of the theory is the assumption that widespread voter fraud favors the Democrats.
2. The theory ignores that catching voter fraud is mostly not a Federal function but rather a function of the individual states where the voting occurs. Thus, the theory requires that all 50 states be in this collusion to suppress evidence of massive voter fraud. This includes red states, blue states, and states in between. They must have all cooperated in the vast conspiracy to suppress overwhelming evidence of voter fraud. The conspirators must include members of Trump’s administration such as Mike Pence (former Governor of Indiana), Rick Perry (former Governor of Texas) and other supporters and advisors to Donald Trump such as Chris Christie (current Governor of New Jersey) and Rudy Giuliani (former Mayor of New York City). Pence leads Trump’s so-called investigation into voter fraud but when he was in charge of finding any widespread voter fraud in Indiana he didn’t.
Put simply, not only is there no evidence to support the vast left wing voter fraud conspiracy theory, the theory is just flat out impossible.
